The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of New York City’s children and families by providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and early care services. ACS manages and funds services including detention and placement, intensive community-based alternatives for youth, and support services for families.
ACS’ Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides innovative IT solutions that effectively address the agency's business and operational requirements. As a central facilitator, OIT plays a crucial role in implementing and ensuring compliance with both city and state, IT and security policies and procedures. By doing so, it ensures the seamless integration of technology across the organization while maintaining adherence to regulatory guidelines and best practices. OIT is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Architect Graduate Intern to join our Solution and Enterprise Architecture team.
As an Enterprise Architect Graduate Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior architects, business analysts, and IT teams to support the development of technology strategies and architectural frameworks.

Section 424-A of the New York Social Services Law requires an authorized agency to inquire whether a candidate for employment with child-caring responsibilities has been the subject of a child abuse and maltreatment report.

- Support the development of enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and roadmaps
- Work with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient IT solutions
- Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and best practices
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders
- Gain comprehensive understanding of the IT landscape and requirements of a large organization
- Develop an understanding of requirements for IT governance and processes
- Enhance abilities in coordinating and executing organizational tasks in a professional setting
