Major Responsibilities
- Under general direction of the Deputy Director of Marketing, with considerable latitude for independent initiative and judgment, perform difficult and responsible administrative work for the Marketing & Development Division.
- Support the Deputy Director of Marketing in creating and managing marketing campaigns for citywide events, programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal divisions, including Legal, Press, Media, and Operations teams.
- Develop and manage project timelines, status meetings, budgets, and deliverables for marketing campaigns.
- Work with the Deputy Director of Marketing to delegate responsibilities and manage design projects and ensure consistency of the Parks brand across all promotional materials.
- Work closely with design staff to ensure creative deliverables meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of quarterly and annual marketing reports.

Minimum Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
- Bachelor’s Degree. 2. Experience in a marketing or supporting graphic design role a plus. 3. Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines. 4. Experience in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns. 5. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office. 6. Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills. 7. Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines. 8. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. 9. Valid New York State driver license.
