The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County (“BXDA”) is charged with the twin goals of ensuring public safety and striving for equal justice for the over 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community. By “Pursuing Justice with Integrity,” the BXDA places a focus on assistance for crime victims while simultaneously ensuring fairness to defendants. Job Responsibilities:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and two years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom-based) experience in computer applications development planning, design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management; or a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom-based) information technology experience of which at least 2 years must have been computer applications development experience
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in .NET software development, web and/or client-server development.

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, develop, and implement custom applications to support in-house business processes.
- Perform hands-on development of web applications and provide technical leadership and guidance as required.
- Assist with developing full stack web applications in the Microsoft Azure environment using Azure technologies including App Service, Active Directory, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Azure CI/CD Pipelines, Azure Functions, Storage, & Oracle/SQL Server Databases.
- Gather and document system requirements and follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile/Waterfall methodologies to deliver code releases.
- Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and troubleshooting any problems.

- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position; or,
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
- Strong knowledge of User Interface design and a strong understanding of Databases (Oracle preferred, or MS SQL). - Experience in C#, .NET 4.0/4.5, MVC, ADO.net, Web Services/Web APIs, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Microsoft SQL 2012/2016, WPF, MVVM, and XAML, and PHP/ASP/CSS/ Python, .Net/.Net core, .Net(4.5, 4.7, 4.8), .Net Core(1.x,2.x,3.x) frameworks, Single Page Applications (SPAs), Telerik UI, Node Js, React JS, MS Azure webjobs, logic apps, Blob storage client library v12/v11 for .NET Frameworks, and Microsoft identity platform for Authentication and Authorization. Azure Administrator, and Azure Developer certification is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent technical “documentation” writing skills. - Design skills including the ability to mock-up, present, and implement user-friendly interfaces. - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. - Ability to handle multiple projects, respond well to shifting priorities, work well under pressure. - Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in dealing with confidential and sensitive situations.
