The Prosecution Division of the Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) is responsible for handling and prosecuting all summonses issued by the TLC. This division plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, safety, and consumer protection within the industries we regulate. Our team also investigates and resolves consumer complaints, ensuring fairness for both passengers and licensees. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused professional to provide exceptional service to TLC licensees and the public. This position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer centric approach to addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Key responsibilities: Serve as the primary point contact for licensees and the public regarding prosecution-related matters. Provide accurate and timely information regarding summonses, suspension inquiries, payment plans, and regulatory updates. Assist in disseminating information on TLC rules, regulations, and procedural updates to ensure licensees remain compliant. Uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive case information. Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of inquiries while maintaining accuracy and working in a fast-paced environment.

- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
