Job Description

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Specialty : Diagnostic Radiology

Job Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM (Weekends Required)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 1 year using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty, and stenting

License : Valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH

Certifications :

Interventional Radiography Certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
ACLS and BLS preferred

Must-Have :

Proficiency in CT

Valid license and certification

English proficiency (speak, read, write)

Job Description :

Perform diagnostic procedures using advanced radiographic techniques.

Prepare and maintain equipment for interventional radiology procedures.

Assist in angiographic procedures including balloon angioplasty and stenting.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Maintain accurate records and adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare team members.

Adapt to a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
