Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Job Specialty : Radiology Diagnostic

Job Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : 8 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 37.50 per week

Experience : Minimum of 1 year as a Mammography Technologist

License : Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH

Certifications : Post-primary certification in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Must-Have :

Experience with relevant mammography equipment
English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write)

Job Description :

Perform mammography examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Operate and maintain mammography equipment in accordance with established protocols.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and maintain quality control measures.

Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with industry standards and practices.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with patients and staff.
