Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Labor & Delivery
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 3x12 Hr
Guaranteed Hours : 34.50 hours per week
Experience : Two years of maternal and child experience, IV insertion, and phlebotomy skills, along with conscious sedation.
License : New York State RN License
Certifications : AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NRP certified
Must-Have : Primary source verification of license, IV / phlebotomy experience
Job Description :
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with medical protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for maternal and child patients.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Uphold standards of infection control and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
