Job Description
Lead team that manages and develops data analytics and measures to inform and evaluate operational strategy, priorities and programs for ambulatory care delivery across Health Hospitals.
General tasks and responsibilities will include :
- Direct supervision and management of Ambulatory Care Operations Data Analytics and Evaluation team, consisting of 4 direct reports (2 Ambulatory Data Analysts, 1 Data Visualization Specialist, 1 Associate Director)
- Manage, oversee and facilitate operational, clinical, business, and regulatory activities around ambulatory care analytics, with particular attention, but not limited, to work around :

Panel Management, Continuity, and GrowthTelehealthReferrals and E-ConsultInnovate and support a sustainable and effective analytics strategiesDesign and produce novel dashboards, reports and tools to improve ambulatory care, validate data for accuracy, and visualize data in user-friendly way for enterprise-wide audiencesOversees management and fulfillment of data requests submitted by Ambulatory Care and Pop Health team members conducting in-depth analyses, including research and evaluation, via internal intake and triage processCollaborate with central office and site-level stakeholders, including Population Health, Managed Care, Finance, Behavioral Health, Quality & Safety, and IT to identify efficiencies and improve alignment on system-wide initiativesOversees the submission of ambulatory metrics to the enterprise’s sub-committees, external mayoral reporting, and centralized repository of system-wide measures, ensuring that inclusion logic is reflective of current ambulatory activitiesProvide consultation on ambulatory operations metrics to leadership at Gotham Health, the FQHC of NYC H H, for evaluating performance and operational efficiency in ad-hoc and routine reportingIn collaboration with partners from Growth and Finance, curate provider data to support primary care staffing model optimization work; facilitate alignment of provider data across Managed Care central office and insurance partners, support streamlining of processes around new member provider assignmentProvide valuable end-user (e.g. facility-based AEDs) education and training through creation of presentations, guides, tip sheets and other communications and resourcesAssist with advancing other Office of Ambulatory Care and Population Health priorities as neededMinimum Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Health Care Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related discipline; and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; orBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in “1” above; and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in areas, as listed in “1”; orSatisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in disciplines, as listed in “1” above.Department Preferences
