SolidWorks/AutoCAD Drafter (Hybrid) Entry Level up to around 4 years exp.

Our client located in the Northwest Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis (Nearby Plymouth) is looking to add to their team a SolidWorks/CAD Drafter due to continued growth. Pay range of $23.00 to $29.00

1st Shift hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. (Some flexibility on start/end time

The client is also open to an entry Level drafter who has an AA Degree in Drafting or similar Degree.

Create and modify detailed drawings, bills of material, and solid models for a variety of products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering standards and specifications.

Opportunity to work Hybrid (A couple days a week) after initial training. The Hiring Manager will tell you more at the interview.

Qualifications:

· At least 2 years of advanced training in mechanical/electrical drafting.

· 2-3 years of hands-on experience utilizing SolidWorks in a manufacturing environment.

1 Year AutoCAD experience

· Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and an understanding of geometric tolerancing are essential.

· Ability to clearly convey ideas and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with other team members both in person and remotely.

· Ability to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.

· Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to actively learn and grow within the organization.
