Instructional Leadership Coordinator
Nye County School District-Southern District Office
12 Months, 8.0 Hours per Day

Salary Range: $85,964-$101,763

Job Goal:
The focus of this position is to provide instructional leadership in curriculum, professional learning, and program development around best practice, effective instructional strategies, and educational research for administrators and teachers, to ensure all students master the content standards.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject(s) related to assignment
Minimum of five (5) years successful experience in corresponding or related positions
Proven record of implementing new practices or programs at a school
Previous successful experience working with adult learners and Instructional Coaches to change classroom practices, instruction, and intervention practices
Previous experience in leadership roles
A passion for learning and teaching
Valid Nevada Department of Education Administrative license and Teaching license with endorsement (s) realated to administrative assignment, or Ability to obtain Valid Nevada Department of Education Administrative license within eighteen months of hire
Valid Nevada Driver License

This position is to begin the 2025-2026 school year. Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check and pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.

Working Conditions:
Office or suitable workspace to carry out functions of position description.
