Summer Technology Helpers 2025

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be available to travel to various schools including Amargosa, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain and Tonopah
• Must have a valid Nevada driver license
• Must pass a reference check, mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing

• Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Knowledge of computer connection to the Internet via Ethernet on Windows
• Ability to accurately enter data using a computer keyboard
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written directions of technology staff
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
• Ability to safely lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
• Ability and willingness to comply with all district policies and procedures regarding appropriate access to and use of district computer systems
