Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately administer medications to residents following established protocols and individual care plans.
- Document medication administration and resident responses in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report any concerns promptly to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including mobility, hygiene, and meal assistance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and work area.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Current 40-Hour Medication Aide certification in the state of Nebraska.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during the overnight hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
