Shift: Overnight (10:00pm – 6:00am)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our overnight team. The CNA will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the night. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to resident safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of our skilled caregiving team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Provide comfort and companionship to residents, responding promptly to call lights and resident requests.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure resident safety and comfort during overnight hours.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, including making beds and tidying resident rooms.
- Assist in repositioning residents to prevent bedsores and help with exercises or mobility aids as directed.
- Accurately document care provided and report any incidents or issues to the charge nurse.
- Support fellow team members in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in the state of Nebraska.
- Ability to work the overnight shift, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent resident care.
- Ability to lift and move residents as needed and to perform physical tasks required by the role.
