Job Description
ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
The Apprentice Operator - Active (AO-A) shall perform 24/7 operational support to the government by tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and active geolocation technique available.
The annual base salary range for this role is $73,000-$86,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Two (2) years of operational experience, within the last five (5) years with a Service Cryptologic Element, or another government intelligence agency (as a government employee or as a contractor) in the following:
Experience conducting RF collection and/or Direction Finding operations.
- Certification in active geolocation techniques via training programs, a service component, or another US Government Agency to include the technologies below is highly desired:
a. Global System Mobile (GSM)
b. Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
c. CDMA 2000 Evolution - Data Only (EVDO)
d. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers standard 802.11 Wireless Fidelity (WiFi)
e. Universal Mobile Telecommunications Systems (UMTS)
- The following certifications are highly desired:
a. NSAG Geolocation Qualification Course
b. SCE Collection Operator Certification
c. USAF Tactical Support Operator (TSO) Certification
