VP Corporate Banking Credit - Leveraged Finance $170-210K BonusHybrid - Downtown LALeading Global Banking conglomerate seeks Vice President Credit from a Corporate Banking, debt capital markets, loan syndications or commercial banking underwriting background, with some experience working on Diversified / General Industries syndicated loan transactions, Debt Capital Markets or private equity Sponsor Finance transactions – to lead and structure complex financing transactions for new and existing clients in the Diversified Industries mid-corporate / leveraged space (mixed industrial, leasing, export, etc.) vertical.We are looking for someone with VP level credit, underwriting or deal structuring experience ideally in the banking / debt capital markets or corporate lending space with some sub investment grade cashflow transaction underwriting and deal management experience - to lead middle market / leveraged and large corporate transactions typically in the $1-3bn revenue space. This is a visible and leading role managing a varied and interesting portfolio in a dynamic and growing team - can be based in New York or Los Angeles, hybrid.Responsibilities include : Evaluate and analyze structure of complex non-investment grade and leveraged transactions in the general industries mid to large corporate vertical.Full execution of a transaction, including origination and capital structuring, due diligence, preparation of credit review, obtaining credit approvals, negotiation of term sheets, commitment letters and credit documentation, syndication and closing and funding.Underwrite new bank debt transactions following established policies / guidelines for non-investment grade clients.Manage a portfolio of corporate clients performing periodic reviews.Coordinate deal process with credit partners, global relationship managers and product partners.Requirements : Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.MBA or degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or CFA are a strong asset (but not required).5-7 years of corporate lending / credit / debt underwriting experience across general / diversified industries.Strong credit skills and extensive modeling skills, typically working on cashflow deals.Knowledge of standard bank products including loans, letters of credit, derivatives, foreign exchange, securitization and leasing.Effective communication skills and ability to work with internal and external clients, including credit committee, structuring, origination, relationship managers, business partners, and clients.Completion of formal credit training program is a plus.For immediate consideration please submit resume in MS Word or PDF format
