Responsibilities
- Adaptations and accommodations
- Use of best practices to improve students’ fine motor and sensory processing
- Develop IEP goals and objectives with supervising OT
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based therapy
- Consult and collaborate with school team members
- Document therapy sessions and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Degree in occupational therapy assisting from an accredited program.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligibility for certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist.
