Special Education Teacher

Position Summary:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing developmental support and educational services to students with learning delays or disabilities. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate to facilitate progress in key areas of development. Your role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and implementing strategies to support students’ growth and learning.
Responsibilities:
- Student support
- Plan a program of study that meets students' individual needs, interests, and abilities
- Adapt curriculum and lesson plans to meet students’ needs

- Progress monitoring
- Consultation and collaboration with team members
Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification preferred
- Active emergency certification considered
- Teaching experience: 1 year (Preferred)
