As a Workers Comp Paralegal with us, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to help clients receive the compensation they rightfully deserve. Your responsibilities will include :
Becoming the first point of contact for clients, assisting with initial intake and gathering crucial claim information needed to file the Application for Adjudication with the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, as well as their medical history to subpoena vital medical records.
Playing a crucial role in drafting and reviewing legal documents, ensuring precision and accuracy in all our legal dealings.
Utilizing cutting-edge technology to efficiently file documents to the WCAB through EAMS / Gemini Jet Filer and File & Serve documents on all parties involved.
Uncovering vital facts and conducting meticulous research to support our legal proceedings and aid in the negotiation of legal disputes.
Acquiring essential medical and employment records, always staying on top of the necessary documentation.
Being a pillar of communication for our clients, engaging in prompt and regular interactions through phone, text, and email.
Maintaining meticulous records and organization of client information to ensure seamless and efficient processes.
Managing and categorizing legal mail with precision and care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Applicant Workers Compensation Experience.
Onsite at 400 Continental Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245
