Capital Program Analyst Trainee 1: A bachelor’s or higher degree.
Your required educational credentials must have been awarded by an educational institution
accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the
United States (U.S.) Department of Education/Secretary of Education. If awarded by an institution
outside of the U.S. and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. A list

Capital Program Analyst Trainee 2: A bachelor’s or higher degree AND

- Assist with administration of the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), ensuring compliance with
- Support local project sponsors with TAP project development, application review, and implementation
- Track and report on TAP project progress, including financial management and obligation tracking;
- Provide guidance to Regional staff and local sponsors regarding federal funding eligibility, requirements
- Assist in review and oversight of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) compliance assessments,
- Assist with administration of Emergency Relief (ER) funding as needed, ensuring compliance with
- Support Regional staff and local sponsors in applying for ER funding, documenting damages, and
- Support development of performance metrics for local federal-aid programs;
- Assist in organizing workshops, webinars, and training sessions on federal funding programs;
- Respond to inquiries from local agencies, consultants, regions, and federal partners regarding TAP and
- Assist in preparation of guidance documents and procedural updates related to federal funding
- Work with Regions to answer questions and provide guidance on programs;
- Monitor program specific Mailboxes and route accordingly;
- Assist with state aid programs as requested.
