MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program, pursuing a degree in Education, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, History, Government, Public Policy, Public Health, Marketing/Market Research or a related field.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, History, Government, Public Policy, Public Health or related fields.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for education and a desire to contribute to meaningful initiatives.
NOTE: Qualifying candidates must be available to work part-time through the end of the semester and full-time, 37.5 hours per week once the semester ends. HESC’s business hours require working between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
DUTIES DESCRIPTION:
- Contribute to the development of surveys and interview guides to determine experience of recipients of HESC financial aid grants and scholarships.
- Help coordinate data collection.
- Conduct one-on-one interviews or assist with moderating focus groups.
- Assist in the development of qualitative coding frameworks, definitions, and codebook.
- Assist with the preparation and management of qualitative databases.
- Assist with identifying common themes on data gathered.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
