Job Description
This position involves instructing courses recognized by the New York State Education Department. The ideal candidate will have one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer. Responsibilities
- Instruct courses recognized by the New York State Education Department
- Prepare or modify curriculum and course outlines
- Create daily or weekly lesson plans
- Conduct a schedule of formal instruction for residents of an OCFS facility
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
- One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer
- NY HELPS Non-Competitive Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Specialties
The preferred specialties for this position are Science 7-12. Certification MUST be at the 7-12 grade level.
