Candidates must possess a New York State_ CDL Class B license with Passenger Endorsement . _Primary duties will be a passenger bus driver.
The salary listed includes $3,400 annual location pay.
Duties: (Primary) Transporting Residents and clinical staff to day trips, outings, clinical appointments etc. May drive any of a variety of motor vehicles including automobiles, buses, trucks, and ambulances in order to transport people, material, and equipment. Incumbents may record people transported in order to document their safe delivery. May map routes, itineraries, and points of call. Changes oil and spark plugs. Changes tires and washes vehicles. Pumps gas and adds water to radiator, oil to crankcase, and air to the tires. Replaces lamp bulbs. Knowledge of the Vehicle and Traffic Law as it applies to the safe and legal operation of vehicles operated. Knowledge of simple automotive repair and maintenance procedures. Ability to physically operate assigned vehicles as required. Ability to lift and carry crates, cartons, boxes, and other cargo onto and off of transport vehicles.
