Primary Responsibilities

- Development of presentation materials for internal and external communications to support the Director of Innovation.
- Collecting and aggregating of input to annual NYSERDA regulatory and internal reporting.
- Help prepare and analyze integrated R&D budgets across the portfolio.
- Interface with counterparts in NYSERDA’s Finance department to align budget numbers and projected commitments and expenditures.
- Coordinate with other program areas to incorporate results of research projects, including renewable energy technologies, into their designated program areas.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams.

- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience
- Experience should be in an operations, business, or data-centric role, implementing process and operational improvements relevant to operations and performance management activities, with at least a portion of that time in a supervisory role.
- A bachelor’s degree from a wide variety of disciplines will be considered for this role including areas of study such as data science, engineering, business administration, accounting, etc.
- Awareness of relevant trends, developments, and reliable information sources for measurement of performance in the innovation sector.
- Experience and skill in performing business analyses, documenting requirements and specifications, and mapping processes.
- Experience with project management methods, processes, standards, and tools.
- Skill in managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments, and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment.
- Ability to quickly identify and drive to the best possible solution when presented with a series of opportunities and constraints.
- Ability to be a self-starter and function well both independently and in teams.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills that resonate with audiences of different backgrounds.
- Advanced software skills in Visio; ASANA; and Oracle is encouraged.
