About the Role:
As a senior consultant- senior organizational change management specialist in the Change Management and Learning Development Practice Area, you will collaborate with team members deliver effective change management strategies for initiatives as a NYSTEC change management consultant.
The organizational change management specialist position will be based at the client site in Jamaica, New York, with a 60% onsite requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze all relevant project artifacts and documentation to identify how processes will affect organizational change in all phases of the project.
- Identify all anticipated stakeholder impacts of the changes, develop corresponding adaptation requirements, determine when the impacts will occur, and create a plan to prepare the organization and its stakeholders for implementing the new system(s) and processes.
- Develop and conduct change impact assessments for each stakeholder group.
- Document, track, and report progress on stakeholder group changes.
- Work closely with business analysts to review business requirements documents (BRD), as-is workflows, and to-be workflows to identify changes.
- Collaborate on go-live business readiness and develop an effective implementation support plan.
- Provide a post go-live support plan to support implementation adoption.
About you:
Required Qualifications
- Educational or professional background in a field related to change management, with at least three years of practical experience.
- Ability to apply a consultative approach to developing and implementing an effective change management strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to a diverse stakeholder group.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet goals within budget and time constraints.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong writing, documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and understand their needs.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- Certification in organizational change management from an ACMP Qualified Education Provider (QEP), such as Prosci or Kotter.
- Preference given to those with experience working in OCM, training, and communication management on NYS Government programs and initiatives.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree and three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
The pay range for this position is $91,762.00 to $126,173.40 per year.
