About The Role

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in your designated business units. The HRBP is an employee advocate, business partner to the management team, and organizational change agent. You will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, communicate needs proactively, and develop integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships to understand business needs and develop people focused solutions.
  • Support employees and managers in understanding the root cause(s) of human resources issues while resolving them with a systematic approach.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the other HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

About You

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Experience working on problems of diverse scope and using evaluation, judgement, and interpretation to select the best course of action.
  • Ability to build relationships and networks with a variety of internal and external partners and adapt style to advise differing audiences on difficult matters.
  • Readiness to encourage and support staff and managers in aligning behavior and actions with core behaviors.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services role is highly desirable.
  • Certified professional in human resources (PHR) or senior professional in human resources (SPHR).

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, with five years of progressive HR experience, resolving employee issues, and supporting managers. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and/or experience will be considered.

The starting pay range for this role is $79,793-$109,716.
