We are currently seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you would be responsible for credentialing/re-credentialing of clinicians in all Nystrom programs.
Work Environment: Work from home with occasional in office meetings/trainings.

Other Duties Include
- Credentialing/re-credentialing of Clinicians in all Nystrom programs
- Submit necessary documents to insurance payers 60-90 days prior to new hire start date for providers who are not currently credentialed.
- Submit transfer request forms for currently credentialed new hires allowing at least 30 days prior to start date.
- Create and keep up-to-date credentialing progress logs for new hires pending credentialing.
- Keep up-to-date credentialing instruction sheets.
- Keep an up-to-date credentialing contact list per insurance plan.
- Acquire NPI numbers or update NPI information on NPPES as needed.
- Obtain providers updated license(s) and malpractice insurance prior to their expiration date.
- Update insurance payers with current malpractice and license documents prior to document expiration.
- Term clinicians from networks as clinicians leave Nystrom.
- Update and distribute insurance lists as changes occur.
- Troubleshoot credentialing, billing, insurance issues with billing/insurance staff and supervisor as needed.
- Immediately report to supervisor any communication/correspondence that has bearing on employee or organization.
- Picking up mail from the New Brighton location when needed
- Other duties as determined
- BA or BS degree is preferred in a business related area
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and the use of email.
