As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Psychiatric Associates, you will play an important role in providing high-quality patient care to our Psychiatry patients.
You will work alongside our Psychiatry providers, returning phone calls to patients regarding the side effects of medication; refilling medication to area pharmacies; calling insurance companies for verification on medications, and completing necessary authorizations for medications.

Responsibilities include : Triaging calls from patientsTaking calls for lab resultsTriages incoming lab results, medical reports, refill requests, etc.
to MD / ARNP / PAs in a timely fashionMaintains legible and organized patient records Requirements : Unrestricted IA nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Comfortable with little to no physical patient contact on a day-to-day basisExperience with mental health care preferred, Knowledgeable about psychotropic medicationsComputer and tech-savvy; experience with Electronic Medical Records Hours : General daytime hours, Monday through Friday 9 AM - 5 : 30 PM.
