Position Summary :
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Supply Chain Director & Assistant Managers in the control of inventory supplies for Perioperative Services, Electrophysiology Lab, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Radiology. Assists in accomplishing facility inventory turn goals and other inventory related objectives within the department, including but not limited to, accurate recommended reorder points, reorder quantities, limit out of stock issues, and increasing use of consignment and ongoing evaluation of supply movement. Implements strategies that will financially and administratively enhance service and utilizes the functioning of the department maximizing all resources available to accomplish its goals. Also responsible for first line supervision of all Clinical Supply Chain activities, the coordination of delivery of medical surgical supplies as well working with vendors for loaner / consignment products to the Surgical and Procedural Suites.
Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinates with Nursing Leadership the re-ordering, re-stocking, and reconciliation of discrepancies of the supplies / implants based upon established par levels and consignment agreement.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree with 0-1 year of experience, or the equivalent combination of education / experience. Strong skills related to the management of inventory control with a 0-1 year of progressive work experiences in supply distribution. Knowledge of Clinical Supply / Materials Management general operations. Knowledge of specialty health care products. Must possess extensive customer service skills as well as intricate computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP). Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical / surgical supplies. 1-2 years of EPIC / patient scheduling experience. (Peoplesoft 9 preferred)

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $64,350.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
