Position Summary :
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant / Adult Medicine - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate The Medical Assistant performs supportive services to the health care provider and nursing staff in the care of patients in the ambulatory care setting in accordance with the policies and procedures

Standard office environment. Exposure to hazardous chemicals. Exposure or handling of potential infectious material. Ability to access all areas of the institution. Ability to lift push pull or otherwise move heavy objects often in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to see or access information in print and / or transmitted electronically. Ability to hear oral instructions. Performing job duties may require prolonged periods of sitting walking standing
Minimum Qualifications :
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalency required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Preferred Qualifications :
1-2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $46,668.84 - $51,611.37 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
