The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a dynamic and visionary physician-leader to fill the position of Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This physician-leader will play a pivotal role in further advancing our commitment to an inclusive culture within the department and the NYU Langone Health community.
Job Description :
The Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will report directly to the Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology, serve as a key member of the department executive committee, and chair the department’s Health Equity Council (DHEC). In addition to clinical responsibilities, this Vice Chair will have allocated time and administrative support for the following leadership responsibilities :
1. Vision and Leadership :
- Provide vision and leadership in fostering a culture of inclusive excellence across the department.
- Oversee the strategy for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the department.

Salary :
300,000 to $500,000. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital / community need, and other factors.
