In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring and coordinating delivery of prescribed pulmonary function testing services through direct performance of laboratory studies
Job Responsibilities :
Minimum Qualifications :
To qualify you must have a Associate s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care NBRC; RRT credential and New York State Respiratory Therapist license OR Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care NBRC; CRT credential and New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician license OR Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care Certification for Pulmonary Function Technology CPFT Experience in Pulmonary Function Lab highly desired Computer competency including basic understanding of and ability to work with Microsoft Windows based pulmonary function software programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Licenses : Cert Pulmonary Func Technologist, Respiratory Therapy Tech-NYS, Resp Therapist License-NYS, Natl Respiratory Therapy Reg
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in respiratory care cardiorespiratory sciences or related area as recognized by the New York State Board for Respiratory Therapy Two years full time acute care hospital PFT laboratory experience

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $52,694.71 - $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
