Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Concierge - Patient Experience & Culture - Part Time, Days - Patient Experience and Culture - Part-T.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for enhancing the patient and family experience. Proactively interacts with patients, families, visitors and staff to ensure a positive first impression, that all interactions are helpful, and needs are taken care of in a prompt and professional manner. Responsible for providing personalized service in accordance with the standards of the Hospital. Serves as a primary resource for patients, families, visitors and acts as a liaison between visitors and other departments in an effort to provide exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides a warm, friendly greeting to patients, families and visitors upon arrival/ departure. Provides wayfinding services for patients and visitors using maps and other tools to various hospital locations. Assures the customer is directed to the appropriate department without exception.
- Answers questions on the spot at the lobby desk and responds to requests in a professional manner using exceptional customer service skills. Answers incoming phone calls with Hospital greeting, determines purpose of the call and transfer to the appropriate area or department.
- Informs patients, families and visitors of hospital and community services as well as amenities that are available. Initiates and delivers service recovery when necessary.
- Anticipates the customers needs and concerns, answers their questions and takes appropriate action. Follows up with customer concerns and assists in resolution of issues in a timely manner, collaborating with Patient Relations Department.
- Collaborates with all staff and departments to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Escalates questions and provides timely resolution to patients and families.
- Assists in maintaining lobby appearance and individual work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or GED. 1 - 2 years Customer Service/Hospitality Position (Hospital,Hotel, Retail, Customer Experience). Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organization skills. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office,Word, Excel). Strong customer service and Hospitality skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree In any field. 3 - 5 years Customer Service/Hospitality Position (Hospital,Hotel, Retail, Customer Experience). Electronic Medical Record Experience.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
