Position Summary:
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator will work closely with the e-Learning manager to deploy strategic learning requirements, manage the day-to-day administration of the system, run reports, and train departmental administrators. The ideal candidate will possess not only technical and functional expertise with the Saba/Cornerstone LMS, but will also be action-oriented, strong at process management, comfortable with data – evident and non-evident – innovative and independent in problem solving, and able to quickly form client relationships
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day technical administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Collaborate with e-Learning Manager, Administrators, Stakeholder, Training Organization Leaders, and steering committee to configure system to best meet NYU Langone Health’s diverse needs
- Assist Director, Learning and Leadership Development in applying diverse data feeds (from PeopleSoft, Cactus, SalesForce – potentially, and other data streams) to develop and isolate user roles with precision within the LMS
- Provides Tier III support for employee issues related to the LMS; escalate issues to LMS vendor, as needed
- Work with vendor to deploy strategic product and service enhancements, including version upgrades of software
- Deliver training to Help Desk on LMS system and appropriate response
- Deliver training to departmental administrators
- Team with eLearning Specialists and Program Owners to implement online learning innovations, develop curriculums, employ communication tools and recognition (as available)
- Prepare and distribute detailed, customized, and summary level reports both regularly and on an as-needed basis; implement measures to drive compliance for required training
- Assist Database Analyst in developing the “reporting hierarchy” in PeopleSoft and migrating data to the LMS
- Assist in migrating legacy data to the LMS
- Run analysis on OD course utilization
- Serve as a HRIT team member and work closely with OD, various PeopleSoft functional groups, and other stakeholders
- Act as a the primary point of contact for the LMS whenever e-Learning Manager is unavailable
- Troubleshoot online course issues

Minimum Qualifications:
- BA degree required in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least three years’ experience maintaining Learning Management Systems
- Extensive involvement in operating an LMS; experience with Saba \ Cornerstone LMS strongly preferred
- Track record in conducting or assisting with IT integrations, database migrations, and providing technical support
- General understanding of PeopleSoft 9.0 Human Capital Management (HCM)
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Proficiency in Articulate and/or Captivate
- Familiarity with SCORM Cloud and xAPI
- Experience with C# and web services
