Project Facilitator

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program. Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Facilitator.

In this role, the successful candidate The Project Facilitator will facilitate pregnancy prevention workshops for adolescents in addition to providing one on one counseling to support youth in making healthy decisions

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct pregnancy prevention workshops
• Provide individual counseling and connect youth to resources and services
• Assist in recruitment special events and program planning
• Complete paperwork for participants
• Ensure that needed resources staff and supplies are available for community events
• Record and report on needed program data for funders reports
• Participate in staff meetings and community meetings as needed
• Work with community partners to plan and coordinate outreach events
• Plan and implement community outreach events
• Train peer educators to conduct pregnancy prevention and HIV prevention outreach activities

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a B A At least two years of experience working with adolescents and/or young adults

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $41,137.16 - $60,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
