What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Coordinator 2nd shift position at NYX, LLC?
Description
Maintain the shipping/receiving department to assure all inbound and outbound material, products and packaging are unloaded/ loaded, stored, shipped and recorded to meet internal and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Unload all incoming materials, supplies and packaging, as necessary.
2. Inspect all incoming freight and documentation for accuracy and acceptability.
3. Complete required receiving documentation accurately and timely.
4. Generate NCMR for nonconforming material from suppliers and notify quality department.
5. Store all materials, supplies and packaging in proper locations.
6. Coordinate inbound and outbound freight pickups/deliveries with freight companies.
7. Pull outbound product and stage no less than 30 minutes prior to shipment.
8. Prepare all necessary shipping documentation accurately and timely.
9. Load outbound products, as necessary.
10. Communicate any product shortage potentials to Customer Service and Operations prior to missed shipments.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
One to three years' experience in shipping, receiving, customer service and MS Office.
