This individual will be responsible for supporting the overall total quality focus of the manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with company policies, FDA regulations, GFSI initiatives, customer specifications, HACCP, and GMP requirements.

This individual will be responsible for supporting the overall total quality focus of the manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with company policies, FDA regulations, GFSI initiatives, customer specifications, HACCP, and GMP requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality systems, food safety policies, procedures, and practices involved in the manufacturing process.
- Conduct line processing checks on packaging lines and collect line samples for customer and lab testing.
- Act as the point of contact for quality concerns with production and lab personnel.
- Participate in area pre-ops, post-cleaning, and master sanitation checks.
- Assist in investigations, including customer, root cause, and internal auditing.
- Perform internal audits, document reviews, and ensure compliance with GMP, Glass-Plastic, and other regulatory requirements.
- Input repair orders and follow up on their completion as needed.
- Coordinate HOLDS, paperwork, Ross transactions, and email communications to ensure product segregation and timely resolution.
- Review re-work from holds prior to release and pull ingredients samples/run testing for product identity.
- Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring temperatures and humidity levels.
