What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biller position at O'Brien Auto Team of Bloomington- Normal?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Break down car deals and send contracts to banks
- Post all retail and dealer trade deals
- Issue payment for dealer trade purchases
- Reconcile all JM&A and other extended warranty sold
- JM&A and other product cancellations
- City tax monthly for your franchise
- Help maintain or make adjustments accordingly to product differences and inventory
- Make sure all paperwork is correct in all deals to keep finding and L&T flow timely
- Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
- Reconciles all JM&A receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
- Posting credits
- Assist office staff in answering phones or cashing out customers when needed
- Receive and route telephone calls in a courteous and efficient manner to the appropriate personnel or department
- Assists with other clerical needs
- Perform related duties as assigned by Office Manager and Controller
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Job may entail other duties not specifically listed.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees, internal and external customers and management.
- Keen attention to detail, organizational abilities and aptitude to work in a team-orientated environment
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
Environmental and Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in an Office Environment. Employees are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.

Insurance
Health insurance is available for employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or
more hours per week. Employees are eligible to participate in the OAT insurance
program after 90 days of employment.
The O’Brien Team does participate in the premium cost of the employees health, dental

401K Retirement Plan
OAT team members are eligible to participate in the OAT 401K Retirement Program
after they are 21 years of age and have worked for OAT for a minimum of 6 months.
OAT matches employee contributions up to $500.00 per year.
Enrollment is 2 times per year. Once you qualify for the Retirement Plan, you
must wait until there is an open enrollment to participate.
Unless an employee chooses to opt out, once you are eligible, you will be enrolled at a 3% per
paycheck salary contribution.
Vacation
All full time O’Brien Auto Team employees begin with 1 week vacation time. Vacation is
earned after each calendar year of employment. Please see the OAT Employee

PTO (Personal Time Off)
PTO is earned at a rate of 2 hours per full calendar month worked for a total of 4 PTO
days per year. Please see the OAT Employee Handbook for specific details. PTO
accrual begins after 90 days of employment.
Part Time Employee Paid Time Off
All part time employees will accrue .77 hours of paid time off for every week worked.
Time is available for use after 90 days of employment. Policy details are available in
BambooHR.
Paid Holidays
Full time Team members who have worked a minimum of 90 days are eligible for
holiday pay per the employee handbook.
