About the Role
As an Automotive Technician at O'Bryan Diesel & Auto, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. You’ll use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair a wide range of diesel and gasoline vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire
- rotations.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify problems with automotive electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide clear vehicle assessments.
- Maintain accurate repair records for each vehicle.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Diesel Heavy Truck/Trailer Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair (preferred).
- Proficiency with automotive electrical systems and computer diagnostics.
- Ability to use power tools safely and effectively for repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
- Must have industry-standard tools.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a drive to learn and grow.
- Available to work Monday-Friday (no weekends).
