In this role you will be a liaison to both internal Associates and external Members. The focus of this position will be to have an expert level of understanding and working knowledge of the following processes in order to ensure exceptional service experiences for both internal and external members:
- Levies
- Deceased processes
- Power Of Attorneys (POA)
- Trusts
- IRA
The level I will have a basic level of understanding and working knowledge and the level II position will operate at an expert level in all of the following processes:
- Subpoenas
- Backup Withholding
- Escheats
- All Vesting Account Types
The Account Administration Specialist will also contribute to the overall success of the Member Operations by assisting in the handling of research requests, document and information retrievals, file maintenance requests and account adjustments in a timely and professional manner, while using problem resolution and workflow management skills.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Mastery of all the essential functions of a Teller, Legal Processes Specialist I, and Call Center positions and all associated processes. Recognized by peers and leaders as a Subject Matter Expert for knowledge and service excellence.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a financial services front line or call center position which would provide thorough knowledge of deposit and loan account products and services and member service.
- Level II requires at least one year of recent experience and expertise with processing Levies, Deceased processes, POA, Trusts, IRA, Subpoenas, Backup Withholding, Escheats, and all Vesting Account types.
- Working proficiency with modern office practices and procedures, including personal computer skills with core systems used to service financial accounts. Symitar system experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly and proficiently.
- Ability to read and decipher technical briefs and regulatory updates
- Working knowledge of basic Federal and State regulations that impact financial institutions and account/ loan maintenance and activity.
Compensation: We value your experience and skills, and our competitive hourly rates reflect that. Final offers are based on qualifications, internal equity, and the level of position offered. Below are OCCU’s Member Operations Account Administration Specialist job levels with their corresponding hourly pay:
- Account Administration Specialist I: $20.00 - $23.00
- Account Administration Specialist II: $24.00 - $24.50
