We are seeking a skilled HRIS Analyst specializing in Workday to join our People & Great Work team (often known as HR in other companies), reporting to the Director of People Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to lead O.C. Tanner through the implementation of Workday as our new HRIS, and the subsequent ongoing administration, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our Workday HRIS system. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday, HR processes, project management, process optimization, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Hybrid Work Schedule-Monday thru Wednesday in office, Thursday & Friday option to work remote.

Duties :

  • Lead the implementation of Workday as O.C. Tanner's new HRIS including the migration from ADP Vantage and other HR solutions.
  • Administer and maintain the Workday HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and system security.
  • Configure, customize, and test Workday modules to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with end users, key stakeholders, and other departments to identify and implement system improvements and enhancements.
  • Work with end users and stakeholders to elicit and document acceptance criteria.
  • Map out, document, and configure business processes or system workflows.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday-related issues.
  • Partner with Learning & Development and functional SMEs to develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on Workday functionalities.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system processes, field definitions, configurations, and user guides.
  • Generate and analyze reports to support HR decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Lead API and third-party integration development and testing efforts.
  • Stay current with Workday updates and new features, ensuring the organization leverages the latest capabilities.
  • Understand impact of changes on other modules and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements (KSAs) :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Workday HRIS.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large and complex projects.
  • Proficient use of project management technologies such as Smartsheet or Jira.
  • Understanding of HR processes.
  • Highly skilled in Workday configuration, reporting, and security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate through ambiguity when needed.
  • Organizationally savvy with the ability to build relationships across the organization and influence key stakeholders to accomplish desired outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical business partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience & Education :

  • Bachelor's degree is required, and in a related, scientific, or technical field such as Information Technology, Project Management, or Human Resources is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Workday HRIS with 5 or more years of professional experience.
  • Workday certification(s) in some or all modules is desirable.
  • Experience with other HRIS products is a bonus.
  • Demonstrable project management experience is required. Training or certification in project management methodologies is ideal.
  • Essential Functions / Working Conditions :

    This is a typical office desk job that may involve long periods of sitting and / or starting a computer monitors, with some possible occasional light lifting.
