Responsibilities
- The intern will work closely with the Payroll Director and payroll team, learning payroll processing to include data entry, audit of employee hours and wages using the Timberline payroll system and Austin Lane Time and Attendance.
- Support with payroll audits and clerical tasks while ensuring compliance with payroll process policies.
- Create reports, prepare analyses, and report results of various work activities.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with various colleagues.
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Coursework in Accounting
- Problem solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Open to learning new tasks
- Must be detail oriented
- Completing task by deadlines and working with time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
