Quality Assurance (QA) /Quality Control (QC) Manager
The Quality Assurance (QA) /Quality Control (QC) Manager in the Semiconductor Industry is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. This role ensures that construction-related processes, installations, and materials comply with contract specifications, and the company's QA/QC program.
Core Responsibilities:
- Take lead with the QA/QC Management Program for the site.
- Function as the single point of contact for all project related QA/QC concerns.
- Must be able to interact with management, engineering, and trade personnel in a professional, proactive, team-building leadership manner.
- Coordinate all inspections with field teams and Commissioning Agent. Distribute all QA/QC documentation.
- Ensure all technical documents related to site quality control are current and accessible
- Review inspection and test reports to ensure they are complete, and the results of the inspections and tests meet the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications, including referenced codes and standards.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the NEC and standard industry installation practices.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Be experienced and competent to inspect construction work in an industrial setting and have a demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrate a full knowledge and understanding of the scope of work, specifications, and drawings.
- Experience with quality management systems, performing audits and documentation practices.
- Ability to collaborate well with a team and independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Required Education and Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred or relevant work experience.
- Have a minimum of 5 years working in industry relative to the construction related area of responsibilities, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- QC Representative shall submit a current work history resume dating back a minimum of 5 years for CM/Owner review & approval.
- Analysis skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer (IT) skills (i.e., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, MS Office).
Compensation:
The minimum and maximum annual salary that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $95,000 to $125,000 annually.
