Lawn Care Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our mowing crew, to help keep our properties beautiful. Duties would include zero turn operation, spring and fall cleanups, trimming, blowing, aerating and over-seeding.

Duties

• Perform regular lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain a neat appearance.
• Manage garden beds by planting flowers, shrubs, and other plants while ensuring proper soil health and irrigation.
• Utilize power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls to enhance outdoor spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections of lawns and gardens to identify issues such as pests or diseases and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills

• Proficient in lawn care techniques including mowing, tree care, and groundskeeping practices.
• Experience with power tools used in landscaping and gardening tasks.
• Knowledge of plant species and their care requirements for effective garden management.
• Strong ability to build hardscape features with attention to detail and functionality.
• Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while managing time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
