Backflow Technician

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Service Plumber to join our dynamic team.

We are currently looking for a Certified Backflow Tester to ensure the safety and reliability of our clients' water systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, and installing backflow prevention devices in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct backflow prevention device inspections and tests in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Identify and repair backflow prevention device malfunctions or failures
• Replacement of backflow devices to code standards
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain test results and any necessary repairs
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall success of plumbing projects
• Secondary Responsibilities: Complete commercial service plumbing work as assigned, if/when needed

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Backflow Tester
• Proven experience in backflow testing and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and backflow prevention devices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Journeyman license REQUIRED, Master license a plus
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
