Drains Technician

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Drains Technician to join our growing Drains Services division.

The Drains Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of drain and plumbing systems at commercial properties. With your experience and expertise, you will troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure that systems are working efficiently and to code. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drain cleaning, maintenance, and system inspections, and be able to work independently while maintaining O'Connor Plumbing’s high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs of drain/plumbing systems at commercial sites, following O'Connor Plumbing’s procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex plumbing and drain issues independently, providing expert solutions.
• Install and repair drain/plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and O'Connor Plumbing’s quality and safety protocols.
• Utilize advanced plumbing techniques for drain cleaning, pipe repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed reports on service and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, coordinating job schedules, providing progress updates, and addressing client inquiries.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment at all times, and maintain adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 years of hands-on experience in drain/plumbing systems and troubleshooting.
  
• Ability to independently handle service calls and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills in resolving plumbing issues.
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members.
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment as necessary.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
