- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
Skills
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Experience in menu planning is a plus, contributing to creative dish development.
