Cashier/Server

Overview
We are chain of fast casual Indian Restaurant serving DFW Metroplex. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Job overview:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take meal order and help in explaining the menu/selection if needed
• Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns
• Take to-go orders over the phone
• Clear and clean table and surrounding area when guests leave
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and processing payments.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met while serving food items.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness including dining tables and service counters.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding food handling and safety regulations.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations relevant to the food service industry.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• McKinney, TX 75071 (Required)
