Golf Shop Attendant – Private Club
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Shop Attendant to join our team through the end of the season. This position requires availability on Sundays and Mondays, with additional days as needed. We hope to find a great fit and bring the right candidate back for the next season. The Golf Shop Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our members while supporting the golf professional staff with daily golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities.
Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour
Qualifications & Skills:
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong commitment to member service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of golf is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assist members with check-in and tee time reservations
- Provide prompt and courteous service to enhance the member experience
- Process transactions for merchandise, cart rentals, and other services using the POS system
- Answer phone inquiries and take messages for staff as needed
- Support end-of-day reconciliation of cash and account charges
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
