What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member/Customer Service position at O'Fallon Nutrition?
We are seeking an experienced Natural Retailer Sales Associate to join our customer service team. We are seeking someone with specific customer service experience working in a natural retailer, nutrition store or a related job.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Knowledge of and a passion for natural health and wellness topics, including but not limited to, vitamins, herbs, other dietary supplements, and natural bodycare.
- Must have at least 1 Year of previous experience working in a nutrition store, natural retailer, or similar business.
- Self-motivated to grow in your knowledge of these topics and a desire to learn about our products
- Enjoys and excels in customer service
- Effective and friendly communicator
- Detail-Oriented and able to multi-task
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
Availability:
- Part-time or Full-Time Positions open
- Must be able to work 3 shifts per week, including one weekend day on a consistent basis
What You Will Be Doing:
- Ensure that every customer is provided with an excellent experience (friendly, approachable, helpful attitude and demeanor) and that they (to the best of our abilities) find the products they are looking for or best meet their needs.
- Maintain awareness of customers on the floor. Greet and check in with customers to see if they need help.
- Learn each section of the store floor in order to be able to direct customers to the right area to find what they’re looking for.
- Direct those customers by walking them to the products they are looking for and/or the appropriate staff person to answer questions when necessary.
- Listen to customer and actively promote our products to meet the customer’s particular needs.
- Participate in trainings on products and various health and sports related topics
- Maintain the appearance of our shelves and store by facing, cleaning, and organizing
- Check in products and stock shelves accurately
- Efficiently and accurately complete customer transactions at the register
- Collaborate with other team members on other store projects and duties
