Porter strives to maintain clean and luxurious appearing vehicles and assist with showroom ambiance. This role will be responsible for operating and maneuvering vehicles safely.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Take accurate notes on vehicle condition
- Follow proper and explicit instructions
- Professional appearance and disposition
- Excellent customer service skills are expected
- Strong communication skills
- Drive manual and automatic transmissions
- Team-oriented with a positive, friendly disposition
- Ability to use hand tools and power washers
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare workshop for daily business operations including moving cars out of the shop in the morning
- Daily cleaning of facility to include workshop, bathrooms, office areas, exterior grounds, windows, etc.
- Clean cars for delivery/sale as instructed
- Assemble and maintain various workshop equipment
- Transport clients as necessary
- Pick up parts and supplies as directed
- Assist with complete dealership operations as directed
- Help with writing repair orders as directed. Speaking with clients and verifying information for accuracy
- Bag and tag cars as necessary
- Inspect fire extinguishers and sign off on or around the 15th of every month
- Secure facility at the end of business day, secure all customer/company property in such a manner that it is conducive to opening for clients at 8 am including emptying all trash bins
- Go on dealer trades. Must be able to do all the paperwork involved. Responsible for inspecting both our vehicle and the unit we are receiving for perfect condition and missing equipment
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
